AT THE GARDEN CITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM
A spirited afternoon filled with Irish music, cheerful entertainment, and "Irish-inspired" spirits and refreshments.

Back by popular demand will be the incomparable Mary O’Dowd, accompanied by Ron D’Addario on guitar, and Bob Mastro on violin – all veterans of the Irish scene. The St. Patrick’s celebration begins at 3 p.m. in the beautiful Victorian setting of the Society’s Museum at 109 Eleventh Street. Open seating begins at 2:30 p.m., and ticket donation is $40 per person.

 

Tickets for “Sounds and Songs of Ireland for a Sunday Afternoon” are on sale now at the Society’s consignment shop, the A.T. Stewart Exchange, on the Museum’s lower level, Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are also available on the Society’s website: tgchs.org. Proceeds of the performance enable The Garden City Historical Society to fulfill its dual mission of preservation and awareness of Garden City history, under its charter with the New York State Department of Education.
