The Garden City Historical Society invites you to celebrate at the luxurious Garden City Hotel the 150th Anniversary of the Founding of Garden City by AT Stewart at our annual Capital Campaign Benefit.
These resident heroes are teaching generations of Garden City children and their parents that charity is important and that giving begins at home. They stand as important reminders of hope and resilience in the face of difficult times. As we celebrate the preservation of our exceptional village, we celebrate their devotion to teaching kindness, generosity, and inclusion and their willingness to share the knowledge of personal experiences. They are great Garden City residents. Honor them with a donation or come & join us on September 20th!
During cocktails (7:00-8:30), guests will sample some of the Hotel’s delicious appetizers and be entertained by famous Garden City resident Andrew Andron on the piano. Dinner will follow as the entertainment continues with dancing to The Hombres, a Garden City Group, followed by The Chiclettes, bands that rock music from all eras.
The Garden City Historical Society encourages you to share in its pride in our past and support the Museum restoration efforts underway either by purchasing tickets to attend our Annual Benefit on September 20th, becoming an e-Journal Benefit Sponsor, or by making a donation today!
